Visitation and Outings
Dear Residents, Families and Employees,
Personal Care:
Effective tomorrow, Tuesday March 16th, Personal Care Residents who have been fully vaccinated will be allowed visitors in their apartments and are able to leave the community.
Visitation:
- Limit of two visitors
- We request no visitors under the age of 18
- All visitors will be screened at the front desk for COVID precautions. We advise visitors to become vaccinated.
- Must wear a mask at all times within the community.
- We recommend that residents and visitors continue to use precautions such as wearing masks, washing hands, and sanitizing.
The current positivity rate in Montgomery County is 4.8%. This is a decrease from last week’s percentage of 5.1%. If the positivity rate would increase above 10% or we experience a COVID-19 outbreak the visitation and outings will be curtailed.
Residents who are not fully vaccinated within the past 14 days are only allowed to leave for medical appointments and are able to schedule Compassionate Care Visits in the library. Resident friends & family members can schedule visits for two visitors in the library with residents for up to 1 hour, must wear masks, with Plexiglas divider between them. Compassionate Care visits are scheduled in advance by calling the receptionist (215) 745-3517.
Independent Living:
On Thursday April 1st we will be celebrating Opening Day of Baseball for the Phillies and also the Opening for Wesley Enhanced Living activities and IL visitation. With this week’s second dose vaccination clinic on Tuesday March 16th we will have 93% of our resident population vaccinated. April 1st allows for the 14 recommended days post vaccination for the full effectiveness.
Our Resident Services, Dining Services, and Human Resources will be hosting an outdoor barbecue of hot dogs, sausage and pepper sandwiches, peanuts, chips, and dessert for the residents and staff.
We will resume religious services for Independent Living on April 1st.
Dining will resume on April 4th, Easter Sunday.
