Dear Residents, Families and Staff,
We have been monitoring the number of changes to the CDC-COVID guidance including the relaxing of mask mandates in many settings. However, the regulations and guidance for Skilled Nursing, Personal Care, Assisted Living and Continuing Care Communities have not changed. We continue to require masks for all persons in common/public areas. The number of people vaccinated continues to increase. As I have mentioned in our resident council meeting, wearing a mask is a small price to pay so that we can do the things that we enjoy.
The current positivity rates continue to decrease. Pennsylvania as a whole has a positivity rate of 2.9%. The counties where Wesley Enhanced Living communities are located have experienced significant decreases. The current rates are Bucks: 1.5%, Delaware: 2.0%, Montgomery: 1.9% and Philadelphia: 2.6%.
I would ask everyone who receives this memo to make an effort to keep pushing those you know who have not received the vaccine to do their part! It is obvious that it is working! If a resident or staff member becomes vaccinated please notify us so that we can register your vaccination.
