We are continuing with a suspension of all group activities.
Until further notice, We are closing Upper Moreland to all visitation except medical personnel. Other than medically necessary physician visits, we implore residents not to leave the WEL Upper Moreland campus at this time. We have seen the effects of COVID 19 within our community and the community at large and we do not want you to expose yourself unnecessarily. We are trying to keep you and our staff as healthy and safe as possible.
Our staff is focused on providing needed services and supplies to our valuable residents.
We are continuing with the residents of Personal Care being quarantined to the floor of their room and their individual rooms. We are working to isolate and contain the spread of the virus. All staff working in personal care are wearing full PPE to protect the residents and staff. Housekeeping is working to sanitize all surfaces. Meals are being delivered to resident rooms.
Also in accordance with state and CDC and Department of Health guidelines we are continuing weekly testing of personal care residents and all staff.
We are enacting this policy because the health and welfare of our residents guide everything we do.
This week we have made significant headway on collaborating a vaccination clinic with a local organization. We hope to have more information later this week and will work to develop a vaccination plan very soon. We will inform you when we have more information.
Please help us: “Resist the Urge and Help Fight the Surge!” There is to be no gathering within apartments or common areas.
Thank you for your ongoing patience, partnership and understanding during this unprecedented time.
