Starting tomorrow, we will be replacing the hand washing station at the front lobby with more hand sanitizing stations.  Based on the most current CDC recommendations, hand sanitizer is effective against the Covid-19 virus and is a better solution at entrances than hand washing stations.  The signage will be adjusted to reflect this change and the front lobby staff instructed to remind visitors to use the sanitizer before entering the building.  We will still have plenty of stations around the building and we will continue to sanitize high touch points around the community including the hall railings.  As a general practice, hand washing is still very effective against both viral particles and bacterial particles, but hand sanitizer is also very effective to clear potential viral residue on hands.
