Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

The COVID transmission rate in Bucks County remains high and the 7-day metric for positivity as of today is 7.48%. We have not had any new cases by staff or residents at our community.

Last week I announced that CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid) released updated Visitation Guidance for Nursing Homes. In summary, visitors are always allowed indoor visitation, as permitted under regulations, without registering/scheduling a visit in advance, without limited length of visits and without limited number of visitors. I also provided the specific guidelines. For visitors to our Health Center, please remember that the Independent Living main entrance must be used after 4:30 p.m. weekdays and all hours on the weekends.

I am pleased to announce that effective with Thanksgiving Day, our restaurant in Independent Living can now accommodate up to six (6) people at large table and we are no longer capping it at 4 people. As a reminder, all dining venues are not open to family and visitors yet.

On behalf of Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown, we are thankful that you have chosen us as your home. We also know that many residents and/or families would like to give thanks to our dedicated employees. We have created thank you cards that you can write recognizing either a team of employees or specific employees, then post it on the bulletin board by the main reception area for everyone to see. The “It’s the season of thanks and I am thankful for you” cards are available at the receptionist desk at the main entrance.

Lastly, if you wish not to receive the weekly communication emails, please reply to the email requesting to opt out. Have a blessed Thanksgiving! For any questions, you may contact me at ldukert@wesleyenhancedliving.org or 267-895-1132. Internally, my extension is 502.

Gratefully yours,

Lynne Dukert – Executive Director
