COVID:

Unfortunately, I must share that we have a new COVID positive staff member, this person was fully vaccinated during the January COVID vaccination clinics.  They will be out of work for a 14 day period.  The most recent CDC information states that fully vaccinated people cannot spread COVID to others.

Even though Philadelphia has reached a milestone of less than a 5% COVID positivity rate and we are only required to test staff on a monthly basis, we have determined that we will continue to test staff weekly, at this time.  Fully vaccinated employees do not require testing according to guidelines, however, we continue to test staff who are fully vaccinated on a weekly basis, as well.

BACK TO NORMAL:

We are taking some more next steps to get back to normal.

  • We are working on providing access to enter and exit the community for P Building residents through the P Building door (near the mailboxes).  More information will be provided when we are prepared to issue access through P Building.
  • The Dining Committee meeting will reconvene.  The first meeting date will be scheduled after June 1.  More information to come.

VISITS:

As a reminder, everyone must use Sign-Up Genius to register to visit with a resident at any level of care.

For residents who live in the health center, only two visitors at a time please.  There are multiple slots to enter, but they are intended to be one visiting slot per resident.  No visits may occur in the health center, unless they are reviewed and approved by the Director of Nursing or Administrator.

For personal care residents, visits may occur in your apartment.  Independent residents may also receive visitors in your apartment.

Please use Sign-Up genius to register for visits.  You must enter the code #8401 when cued to do so.
