Dear Residents, Families and Employees:

I am very pleased to share with you that we remain COVID-19 free.  The city of Philadelphia is reporting that 3.5% of testing is positive, and those statistics are reported including the increase of cases at the Temple campus.  This puts Philadelphia county just behind Bucks, better than Montgomery.

We continue to work through the plans to re-open the Fireside Dining Room.  As I shared last week, the table layout with sneeze guards on every table is completed.  We continue to work on the seating arrangements.  You may notice that some tables have been stored away so we can assure social distancing between tables and seating will be limited to four (4) to a table.  Another change will be a smaller menu, at least initially.  There are several reasons behind this change, including the fact that we want our servers to have the opportunity to become familiar with the serving process (again) – it’s been quite a long time.  We also need to be sensitive to timing between the two seating times so we can properly sanitize the dining room between each seating.

Most of the September visits have been set-up with family members.  Just a reminder, these visits will be happening as long as there are no new cases of COVID-19.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions or concerns.  You can send me an email directly at the address herein.
