As indicated in my letter of 6/5/2020, here are some updates regarding specifics here at Stapeley: Please note- the flowing changes apply only to Independent Living (IL) and Personal Care (PC).
- MEAL SERVICE No changes for IL and HCC – maintain room service. Stapeley Hall PC- beginning Monday, June 15, we will once again be serving meals in Tree Tops. Changes necessary to maintain proper social distance include:
Two seating’s per meal as follows:
Breakfast 7:30 and 8:30
Lunch 11:30 and 12:30
Dinner 4:30 and 5:30
Our Team will ask Residents for time preferences and accommodate as feasible and Residents must wear masks to and from the dining room.
- IL TRAVEL ILResidents may resume essential travel. Limiting contact with people in the community at large is strongly recommended and gatherings of 15 people or more are not allowed
- Visitation PC and IL Resident families may do “drive by” visitation in the driveway on the Stapeley Hall side. Family members must stay in the car with the windows up. At this time, no visitation of any kind it yet permitted for our Health Care Center
- The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) is following the CDC recommendations to adhere to all restrictions for Skilled Nursing Facilities that were put in place at the onset of the pandemic. Per these guidelines, there is still a no-visitation policy in effect in all WEL Skilled Nursing Facilities. These restrictions will likely remain in effect until 28 days following a “green” phase in the counties within which we operate.
We will continue to share updated information as we progress through “yellow” and into “green” phases of re-opening. Thank you for all your support, cooperation and understanding as we navigate through this transition.
Please take care of yourselves, and I will be in touch again soon.
