Residents and Families,
The good news continues. We haven’t had a Resident test positive since 6/18/2020 and the last time an Employee tested positive was 5/20/2020. The five Residents who remain in our red zone are doing well and their transitioning out of this quarantine zone could begin as early as 7/13/2020. Testing of all Employees and HCC Residents is scheduled for 7/15/2020. Required testing of all Personal Care Residents is due to be completed by 8/31/2020.
Our plan for re-opening is included on pages two and three of this memo. If there are no new cases from 7/15/2020 through 7/29/2020 and Philadelphia goes to completely green, we can begin looking at scheduled visits. We are currently at a modified green. A new case, as indicated in the plan, is defined as “Resident contracts COVID-19 within the facility without a prior hospitalization with the last 14 days”.
Apartment cleaning returns to the regular schedule for Independent Living beginning next week.
