A WORD FROM JILL, RN
One of our own was published! One of our Wellness Nurses, Jill Schlosser, RN, wrote for the Philadelphia Inquirer which appeared in print on April 18. The online article is linked here. This is just one indication of the talent and brain trust we have among staff persons who are trained and have experience that goes to those issues that affect us daily. Good show JILL!

SATISFACTION SURVEY ** A reminder **
Time is running out to participate in this year’s opinion poll. It is immensely helpful to the organization to know your thoughts and opinions.
If you are an EMPLOYEE, use this link 2021 Employee Satisfaction Survey / https://forms.gle/kGEokSLqERjRxsHL9
If you are a RESIDENT, complete the hard copy available at front desk and register for pizza lunch in May.
SO FAR; we’ve had 139 residents and 29 employees complete the survey.

BUILDING & PROPERTY
Air Conditioning is now fully operational, having been inspected and renewed. To illustrate the challenge we discuss yearly, note that it was made operational in time for sub-freezing temperatures late last week. Warmer days are coming and the system will be operational through October.
Main Entry Patio pavers are to be reset and cleaned the week of May 3.
Tree work and other landscape enhancements. We have requested several proposals from our landscape contractor. At this writing, the grass is in need of mowing so Mr. Rohrbach is in earnest conversations with the company.
WINDOW CLEANING for resident apartments – outside – is scheduled for the week of June 14 (obviously weather permitting).
BOCCE COURT will be made ready the week of May 3.
At this point all other outdoor common areas are ready for summer.

COVID 19
The positivity rate for BUCKS COUNTY was 9.5% on Friday, April 23. It’s moving in the right direction. The rate is decreasing, but ever so slowly. Due to the declining trend, restrictions on visitation for Skilled Nursing and Personal Care residents are under review this week. Appointments for outside visits are encouraged and preferred, and can be arranged through the front desk.

PENDANTS
Just to reiterate, the emergency call system is up and operational – resident pendants work. The HOPE is always that they are not needed. But if they are, please use! Good day.
