COVID-19:
The positivity rate for Pennsylvania remains at 9.1% for the past week. For Montgomery County the positivity rate has remained at 5.3%. This offers cautious optimism. We currently have no cases.
We are in the process of scheduling booster clinics for the residents who received the Pfizer vaccine. We continue to monitor for when the Moderna and Johnson vaccines are approved for boosters. We will keep you informed when we have more information about COVID vaccine booster shot clinics.
I continue to ask everyone who receives this memo to try to keep encouraging those you know who have not received the vaccine to do their part! Please vaccinate, don’t procrastinate.
You can obtain your vaccine through the following link: https://www.vaccines.gov/search/

Medicare Insurance:
I would like to make you aware that Wesley Enhanced Living has stopped accepting Cigna Medicare in our skilled health centers. Cigna is no longer offering the ISNP program starting 2022 in Pennsylvania. Open enroll for Medicare benefits begins October 15, we are encouraging our current Cigna Medicare residents in all levels to switch to another plan that we are contracted with. We will not be able to accept Cigna participants into the health center for short term rehab if the need arises.

Flu vaccine clinic:
Flu shot clinic will be held on Tuesday October 12th from 10am-2pm. The clinic will be held in the community room. Please sign up in the Wellness Center.

Alarm System:
The alarm project has been delayed due to the computer server for the system malfunctioning. The unit had to be shipped back to Chicago for servicing and reprogramming. We will keep you informed when we know more about restarting the mapping of the apartments.

First Floor Hallway Carpet:
On Thursday and Friday October 7 & 8 the hallway carpet outside apartments 117-130 will be removed and replaced. The work will begin on Thursday with the removal of the carpet and replacement of the hallway carpet. On Friday the apartment doorway carpet will be replaced.
