Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
The COVID transmission rate in Bucks County remains high and the positivity rate went down slightly to 6.52%. We have not had any new cases identified. The Health Center has completed their last round of testing of all residents from the previous weeks’ positive employee case. All results from the first round were negative. If no new cases are identified with this last round of testing, we hope to re-open the Health Center to visitors again soon. I will send out a communication on Monday, October 18, 2021, to confirm.
In the previous two weeks we hosted our FLU clinics for residents and employees. All residents interested did take advantage of this opportunity. The FLU vaccine is mandatory for all employees. The deadline to get the vaccine is November 30, 2021. We have ordered more vaccines and will send out information once they are available for those employees who wish to get the vaccine here.
Pfizer COVID-19 Booster – WEL Doylestown is offering this booster to residents and team members. Recipients of the booster must have received the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and it must be at least 6-months since the 2nd shot was received.
