Update for all WEL Upper Moreland Residents, Families and Staff– 2/16/2021
Today, we had the opportunity to vaccinate 106 Independent Living residents at our vaccination clinic provided by Eric’s Rx Shoppe at 810 Welsh Rd., Horsham, PA 19044. We are very grateful for them providing this service for our residents. With the addition of 31 IL residents previously vaccinated we now have 137 residents vaccinated at our Upper Moreland clinics. If any resident was vaccinated elsewhere please notify Beth Cataldi at (215) 302-3741.
Yesterday, we were notified that an independent living resident tested positive for COVID-19. This is the 12th independent living resident that we are aware of who tested positive.
All Residents: If you experience ANY symptoms of a fever, new or persistent cough, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, chills, headache, muscle aches, sore throat, congestion, nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, or sudden onset of fatigue You Must inform the Wellness Center and contact your personal physician. For staff members if you experience any of the symptoms please contact your supervisor.
Residents, If you are ill and/or in the process of being tested for COVID-19 you are to inform the Wellness Center and remain confined to your apartment. Once you receive results from testing please notify the Wellness Center.
All restrictions mentioned in the previous Updates remain in effect.
We had our second dose vaccination clinic for our personal care residents and our staff on Friday February 12th for those who received the first vaccine on January 22nd. We also had 7 staff who received their first dose and will receive their second dose at our clinic on March 5th.
