We have had one new positive from our most recent Meadows resident testing on Friday. This resident is actually one of the residents who received their vaccine on 1/12. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

The resident from IL who tested positive continues to recover in the hospital at this time.

We continue to have no positives in the Pines.

We had no new staff positives with our rapid testing today.

As I noted in today’s health talk, we have set ourselves up to possibly have a vaccine clinic in place for our Independent Living residents on February 9th. We have requested 250 doses for that day, which was to initially be our Personal Care clinic. Since we have already started the vaccines for Pines(personal care), we are going to try and do a clinic onsite for our IL residents. PLEASE understand that we are not in charge of these clinics and we are beholden to what the CVS pharmacists are willing or interested in doing when they come onsite. However, we did get them to do Pines early, so there is no reason not to ask for the next step. I would ask for all residents and family members to cross your fingers and toes and engage in any good luck techniques you prescribe to in your lives and we will be hopeful that common sense prevails and they vaccinate all of our residents on that clinic day.

We will be starting housekeeping in the rooms this week due to no positives in the housekeeping staff and the fact that the positivity rate continues to drop. We ask that you continue to avoid visitation onsite until we note it is safe to resume. Contact wellness or myself if you need us to assist with anything.
