Dear Residents, Families and Employees:
I’m going to just say it, it has been a very frustrating week. We still do not have a date for our vaccine clinics and I have contacted our local and state Department Of Health, Senator Haywood, state representative Dwight Evans, CVS local and corporate, the Mayor’s office, Jefferson Health, LeadingAge, and the Philadelphia Health Department. The Philadelphia Health Department has been helpful and they are investigating to determine if they can provide the vaccine for us. As soon as I know anything for certain, you will hear from me.
As Mohammed Sekouty said, “On your journey to success equip yourself with will, hope and patience” . We will be successful in getting our vaccine and we will find our way out of this. Stay tuned.
Testing this week revealed two new positive Residents and one new positive Employee. We currently have three Residents in our red-zone quarantine area.
