We have seen no more positive tests in the Meadows since the last update on 7/21/20. The baseline testing has been submitted to the state and we have begun next steps in the Meadows including in person visits, being done outside.
We continue to have no positive cases in the Pines with staff or residents to date. We have completed all of the baseline testing for the state’s mandate and showed no positives. We will be moving to in person visits outside for our Pines residents next week, more to come on this.
In the Independent Living unit, we have shown no more new positive tests since our last positive on 7/20/2020. All residents who had come in contact have had their tests return negative, but they will stay in quarantine until the end of the week out of an abundance of caution. Please continue to maintain social distance and facial covering if you are out of your apartment. It is your best defense against this difficult virus. We have had no new staff positives since our last update on 7/21/2020. This includes the baseline testing that was done in Meadows and is being done in Pines.
The state of Pennsylvania has shown a slight upward trend over the last week, so please continue to remain vigilant if you are out and about.
