Yesterday when I sent out the memo, there were still 5 more tests in the Meadows we were waiting for results on, but I felt I needed to send something out before we had all the results.  We have gotten the other 5 tests back and unfortunately have 2 more positives to report, making our total positives 14.  As with the other positive residents, we are not seeing symptoms in most of them and the ones that have some symptoms are very mild to this point.  Our attending physicians were here today reviewing their plans of care and we reached out to Main Line Health and the Department of Health to review our current status and get some insight into what we have going on right now in the Meadows related to our community situation.  The county still sits at a positivity rate of 12.7 and there continues to be a significant presence in the area hospitals of those suffering with Covid related illnesses.  The fervent hope is that we will start to see some decrease in cases in the next 2-3 weeks related to the holiday season surge.  January 12th is still our first clinic date for the vaccine!

During this surge, we are going to close down wellness for clinic hours.  If you need wellness services, please call down to Linda (251) or Tamara (265) during office hours and they will triage your needs on the phone and go up to your apartment’s for any services needed.  This is to avoid interaction near the Meadows entrance out of an abundance of caution.  Any questions, please reach out to Linda or Tamara.
